iMet 13 Cohort Opening 4 Day Retreat:

Completing the iMet Application

The following steps need to be completed to apply for admittance to the iMet Program.

Please Note: Read the notes for each step carefully and follow directions carefully.


To apply for iMet Cohort 12 please complete the following 3 steps:

Step 1 - Complete an online graduate school application:

a) Log on to: www.csumentor.edu

b) Set up an account if you do not already have CSU Mentor Access (Choose "Create an Account" or "Log On"at the top of the screen). Make sure to make note of your login and password once it has been established.

c) Complete the online application for the Masters in Education with an emphasis in Education Technology:

1. Start by clicking on the "Apply Online” tab at the top of the page

2. Next click “Graduate Admission Applications"

3. Then click on the box that contains: Spring 2009

4. Choose CSUS Sacramento

5. Complete the application for the Masters of Education - Technology Emphasis.

Step 2 - Make sure to submit 2 sets of official academic transcripts from all colleges and universities attended to the office of graduate studies:

Step 3 - Submit documents a-c below to the Department of Teacher Education:

a. Submit a copy of your teaching credential (if a credential is held) or a simple written statement that you would like to request a waiver of the credential requirement.

b. Submit a Statement of Purpose, template available:

c. Submit a Retreat Attendance Agreement

Important Notes on the WPE

The WPE requirement must be resolved prior to the end of the second term of the iMet Program.

b) You must submit a written statement that you:

- Have passed the WPE
or
- Will need to take the WPE
or
- Have met the requirements in another way and will submit a WPE waiver.
