Spring Project - Drafting
This is the evolution of a project I have been working on with my Architectural Design students for several years. It is a full-blown research and design project which provides student the opportunity to express their creativity within the bounds of good business practices. Designed as a real-world work activity, it also requires strong critical thinking skills and the application of CORE and topic specific California content standards.   It requires students to select one of three possible projects, research it's background and design fundamentals, design an artifact of their own, build a model and prototype, test the prototype and finally evaluate the work they have completed.

Paraphrasing & Research -- CTAP 295
Here is a review Language Arts activity, based on 5 Civil War Letters, which teaches students strong research skills and how to report what they find in their own words. It is designed to prepare students for writing formal research papers that meet the MLA standards. It was created as an example for other educators of web-based lesson design (for the CTAP295 project), and as part of the curriculum for Senior Project.

It describe the attitudes and responses of both reluctant and resistant teachers, as well as the coaching needed to overcome these restrictive attitudes.

Concept Attainment -- DataTown File Management Lesson
This activity provides an easy-to-understand lesson on digital file management. Using basic analogies of street maps and file cabinets this creative lesson provides learners with a simple game and explanations of how the  computer file system works and how to successfully navigate it. It can be used for students third grade through adult getting ready to use the computer as a learning tool. It can also be used as a staff development example of advanced organizers or digital curriculum design.
