Job Summary: Act as the chief executive officer
for the business. Take charge of the management team and ensure that
the business runs effectively and efficiently, and makes a profit.
Act as a professional role model and public image for the company.
Take final responsibility for all company actions. |
Duties and Responsibilities:
|
1. Take charge of the entire operation and
provide support services to all departments and personnel |
|
2. Act as primary contact and public image
officer for all business transactions |
|
3. Stay informed and involved with all company
activities |
|
4. Manage daily business activities through working
with Department Heads and Executive Board officers to ensure profitable
business returns |
|
5. Conduct Board of Directors and Executive Board
meetings |
|
6. Take responsibility for business activities |
|
7. Hire other members of the company management team
and see that they in turn hire and maintain a productive staff |
|
8. Sign all company contracts and other company
documents |
|
9. Act as an ad hoc member of all committees |
|
10. Promote the company image |
|
11. Serve as chief officer for the Board of
Directors and Executive Board |
|
12. Maintain regular contact with the California Virtual
Enterprise Network: providing required reports, disseminating
information to and from the network, and stay in touch with other Virtual
Enterprise businesses as appropriate |
