Job Title: Chief Executive Officer

 

Pay Range:  $100,000 - $150,000

 

Reporting To:   Board of Directors

 

Number of People Supervised: 20-25

 

Job Summary:  Act as the chief executive officer for the business.  Take charge of the management team and ensure that the business runs effectively and efficiently, and makes a profit.  Act as a professional role model and public image for the company.  Take final responsibility for all company actions.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1.  Take charge of the entire operation and provide support services to all departments and personnel

 

2.  Act as primary contact and public image officer for all business transactions

 

3.  Stay informed and involved with all company activities

 

4.  Manage daily business activities through working with Department Heads and Executive Board officers to ensure profitable business returns

 

5.  Conduct Board of Directors and Executive Board meetings

 

6.  Take responsibility for business activities

 

7.  Hire other members of the company management team and see that they in turn hire and maintain a productive staff

 

8.  Sign all company contracts and other company documents

 

9.  Act as an ad hoc member of all committees

 

10.  Promote the company image

 

11.  Serve as chief officer for the Board of Directors and Executive Board

 

12.  Maintain regular contact with the California Virtual Enterprise Network:  providing required reports, disseminating information to and from the network, and stay in touch with other Virtual Enterprise businesses as appropriate
