Job Summary: Keep the facilities and equipment
in safe and efficient working order. Provide for installation of any
new equipment, basic remodeling needs, and basic demolition needs.
Work with outside contractors for more extensive physical needs of the
facility. Maintain records of procedures and regulations. |
Duties and Responsibilities:
|
1. Maintain all facilities in safe and
efficient working order |
|
2. Install, repair and maintain all equipment
in safe and efficient working order |
|
3. Provide basic improvements to facilities and
equipment as needed |
|
4. Arrange for and work with any outside contractors
necessary to provide necessary maintenance or improvements |
|
5. Maintain records of all work activities and
support materials |
|
6. Provide written reports to other departments as
needed |
|
7. Provide for safe disposal of all toxic materials |
|
8. Maintain tools and work area in safe, secure and
efficient manner |
|
9. Work with outside agencies as necessary for
safety and efficiency |
|
10. Place orders for any needed equipment or supplies |
|

1. Knowledge of safe and efficient use of all
equipment and tools used on the job |

Tools & Equipment:

peripherals, software (data base, word processing, etc.), telephone,
FAX, copier, construction
and repair tools, various testing devices as needed |
| Frequency of Use: regular daily use for primary
tools and equipment, testing devices and heaver construction and repair
equipment as needed |
