Job Summary: Place purchase orders for
materials, supplies and equipment as needed. Track inventory levels
and reorder as needed. Research suppliers to obtain the best prices
and best merchandise, as well as quickest available turnaround for
deliveries. Stay in communication with all departments to determine
purchasing needs. Provide written reports to Accounting Department
and Sales Department. |
Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Communicate with all departments to
determine purchasing needs |

2. Work with Buyer to determine resale lines
and suppliers |

3. Communicate with providers to determine
purchasing prices, shipping procedures, merchandise lines and all other
purchasing procedures |
|
4. Communicate with Accounting Department to
determine budgetary allowances and needs |
|
5. Place and track purchase orders |
|
6. Keep records of all transactions |
|
7. Track inventory levels to determine re-ordering
needs |
|
8. Provide regular written reports to Director of
Purchasing |
|
