I am currently going into
my fourth year of teaching 5th grade (and 6th grade Social Studies)
at Barbara Comstock
Morse Elementary School in Elk Grove, California. My school is
representative of the increasingly diverse populations of California.
There are over 16 languages spoken at my site. Academically, Morse
is a low-performing - but improving school. It is a great place to
teach.
What matters most to me
is that my students understand how each of their cultural traditions
has contributed to the fabric of our nation and that each one of them
can make a positive difference in the world.
