As you
delve into the different tasks in African Folktales - Stories from
the Heart and Land, you may find you have some unanswered questions.
Most likely you have traveled beyond the limits of your textbook and
are relying more on online information. But how do you know when information
is accurate and unbiased? What if you cannot find answers? Where can
you find an expert in the period of history you are researching? A
great local source is the Area
3 History and Cultures Project. Use the guidelines below before
contacting the History Project site:
- Create
a classroom chart for unanswered questions for your historical time
period
- Record
all questions on the chart - be sure to check for and eliminate
any duplications
- Contact
the History Project and ask them for the e-mail address of an expert
in the field of history you are Investigating
- E-mail
your questions to your expert
