Welcome to my e-Portfolio. This electronic portfolio reflects my professional growth in the areas of education, staff development and technology while participating in the iMET Master's Degree program. Being a member of the first cohort to graduate from this innovative program has been the most exciting educational experience of my adult life. I dedicate this portfolio to my three professors: Larry Hannah, Bruce McVicker and Mike Menchaca. They are the soul of the iMET program!

The Process section of the portfolio contains a reflection about the iMET program, resumes, links to some of the electronic tools we used during the program and examples of my work. The work includes presentations given at CUE and California Art Education Association conferences, social studies curricula and examples of extracurricular units.

This section contains four distinct products - all developed and/or refined to fulfill the education goals and objectives of the iMET program. The units of study have been developed to present 7th grade curricula in the areas of social studies and art. As an educator whose classes include ESL, resource, full-inclusion and mainstream students, I use a SDAIE/ELD approach to present the curricula. The webquests Technology Spies and Your Role in Medieval Society are examples of collaborative, scaffolded SDAIE units. In appreciation for the diverse cultures present in my classroom, the art unit, Celebrating the Day of the Dead, offers a way to honor all cultures and students. The staff development component, One Size Does Not Fit All, offers a look at successful staff development at the school site level.
