PROCESS...WEEK 2

1. Research present day kite designs to help you design your own kite.

2.Make a sketch of your design. How big will your kite be (Dimensions)? Remember, it must have a balanced design in order to fly: Use the worksheets provided

a. What other parts are needed to have your kite fly?

b. What geometric shapes are in your kite design?

c. What materials will you need to build your kite?

3.Build your kite. Check with your teacher for material availibility.

4. Test your kites worthiness of flight. Does it fly? Be sure to complete the Traveling at the Speed of Kite worksheet
