First Task 

Research using this WebQuest page. Then develop a timeline of the first historical information about dragons.  Find the dates of the first symbolic and/or written references of dragons in ancient civilizations. Start your task by reading about the earliest known dragons in history. Here is another source for dragons of different cultures. See the map of where dragons dwelled in ancient western civilization.

Read the Timeline Guide to help you get started
Draw a timeline on construction paper. (12"x18") You need the following information. Historical dates of when dragons developed in ancient cultures. Such as Sumerian, Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Chinese, etc. Include name of the dragon or dragons with the culture it originated in.
Use a computer to draw your timeline including the information from above.
Review the evaluation form to better understand the requirements.
