Welcome!

Welcome to my iMet portfolio.

The main parts of this portfolio are the Process, Products, and Showcase.

The Process page includes why I chose iMet over other, closer Master's Degree programs, reflections on my epxerience of being in the iMet program, and a brief note about my teaching philosophy.

The Proucts page describes four of the projects I did during my iMet experience. They are some of the "products" of the program. One was an individual project, and three were group projects. The coolest thing about group projects is that you get to learn the strengths and weaknesses of others, and how to work best with those strengths and weaknesses. The products include feedback from faculty and peers, and my personal reflction on each project.

The Showcase is my final Action Research paper, including the Review of Literature. This research project, the "culminating experience", was the most interesting part of the whole iMet experience. There are so many human factors around technology that I never thought about, from the difficulty of getting students to take part in your research project, to the privacy issues around using video to communicate the results of your research.
