Rationed and Regulated
			Do you think that a war overseas could effect what people wear? In fact, in the forties, it was considered gouch to be showy in a time of shortage. The decade of the Ration Stamps began when Pearl Harbor sped this country into a national war effort. Icons such as Rosie the Riveter became chic, as women of all social standings joined the work force. Do you think fashion trends might become more masculine as more women enter a traditionally male work force?
