Hats Off to History, an academic
pursuit which follows the
notoriously nonacademic subject of
fashion through the last century.

This site leads ninth through twelfth
graders to discover the historical
relationship between clothing
design and the social and political
influences of a particular era.
Through online research, students
will develop a theory of past and
present major influences on the
clothing industry, and will then
design clothing trends for the future
based on their research and conclusions.
