Creating Teacher Webpages!

The Internet provides opportunities for teachers, parents, students and the community at-large to communicate and collaborate with one another instantaneously. The number of schools throughout the United States and other countries who have online presence has grown tremendously. More so than ever, teachers are tailoring and personalizing their use of the World Wide Web to assist them in making important connections with their students and their families, peers and administrators and the world. Yes, it is true, teachers are creating their own web pages to help them communicate and teach more effectively and creatively!

The school district where you teach has created a website for each of its schools. Your enthusiastic school administrator has decided it is time for the classroom teachers and resource staff to create their own webpage in order to facilitate better communication and showcase the school's classrooms and programs. A workshop has been set up to help you create a simple webpage using Microsoft Word.

On to the Task!
