THE SUPERNOVA SURPRIZE |
What a bright idea it was to choose the supernova idea! You must make the connection between a supernova event and the disappearance of the dinosaurs! Here are some MUST DO and CAN DO options for this quest! You must complete the MUST DO items and have the option of adding 1 or more of the CAN DO items for a passing grade.
1- You MUST use two or more of the links below and write a 2-page report on the supernova/dinosaur connection.
2- You MUST find one or more extra links on your
area of focus and write up a short summary on that link.
CAN DO's: (need 1 or more)
1- Create a diorama showing the dinosaurs and the supernova
2- Make a clay or paper mache' supernova and or dinosaur
3- Write a story about a dinosaurs adventures after the supernova hits the Earth
4- Write a short play about what may have happened
5- Present a book review on a book about supernovas or dinosaurs
6- Compose a dinosaur/supernova poem
7- Write and perform your own version of brown paper bag theatre's dinosaur/supernova adventure
8- Your own idea!!!!!! Please ask the teacher for permission first.
