INTRODUCTION

 

Every year, the editors of TIME magazine select a "Man of the Year". This person has, they believe, had the biggest impact -- whether positive or negative -- on the world during the previous year.

 

TIME magazine did not exist during the Renaissance. However there were many influential people who lived during this era. Your job is to nominate one of these important people as "Man of the Era". While doing so, you will also learn about some of the important people and events associated with this important time in history.
