1. Seed Planter-you will be given the conditions from Plantasy (type of soil, temperature, and light) . Divide your seeds in  half.   Grow one half using Plantasy conditions, the other half you will grow normally under Earth conditions(the controlled seeds).   You will need to do research to discover how seeds from Earth are planted.  Then plant your seeds and put them in the proper locations.  Explain in a paragraph what you did; the growing conditions and the locations.  Take pictures to record your work.

2. Plant Growth Recorder-you need to do research on the 4 parts of a plant so you can decide if the plants you are growing from seeds develop properly.  Record the growth at least twice a week for a month on the plant chart. Be sure you compare the growth of your Plantasy seeds with your controlled seeds. Put your data into a graph on Excel (insert into the powerpoint).  Take pictures as the seeds develop into grown plants, be sure you label the parts of the plants as they develop(insert in paint).return to process page
 
 

3. Green Machine Designer-you need to research the process of Photosynthesis. To find out how a plant produces it's food and why it is green. Then you can determine if the plants you are growing will live to be mature. Be sure you compare the Plantasy plants with the controlled plants. Design the process of photosynthesis in paint using one of the pictures you have taken,  and write a paragraph explaining how the plants you are growing are going through this process. return to process page
 

4. Captain-you are responsible in helping the Scientists on your team gather their information.  You will need to be familiar with each of their jobs.  Your job includes deciding on a name for your plants.  Then compile all information by each Scientist (pictures they have taken and labeled, paragraphs they have written, and/or graphs) and the Scientific method process into  the powerpoint presentation. Be sure you have a title page with all Scientists' names. Each slide should tell which Scientist is presenting the information. The last slide should summarize your findings, by stating whether your seeds/plants from Plantasy do survive on Earth or not.  You will then present your powerpoint to the Department of Science.
