As a group, make a slide show to inform Sun Woman ('Anya) and other interested people about each region in California. Include the following for each region (You probably want to divide up the work of making the slides): 1. Climate: weather, temperature, precipitation. Excel might be useful here. 2. Geography: land forms, bodies of water 3. Animal and Plant Life 4. Native American Group: homes, food, clothing, customs 5. Explain how the lifestyle of the Native American Group was uniquely connected to the region in which they lived. Be specific by naming something they did or used and telling where they did it or used it. 6. Tell which group/region Sun Woman comes from. Tell each clue you got from the introduction page and show and tell what you found in your research that makes you think you are correct. By yourself, choose a region that you think would be the best to live in. You choose what "best" means. Use Microsoft Word to make a brochure convincing Sun Woman, 'Anya, that the region you have chosen is the best. Facts that are convincing include weather and climate, geography and natural resources. Use a good balance of pictures and information. Don't forget to check the checklist and rubrics on the right before, during and after completing your projects.
