251 Education for a Democratic, Pluralistic Society

An Electronic Poster Session:

For this assignment option the student will create an electronic poster (e-poster) session on an aspect, study, program or resource related to education for a democratic, pluralistic society.

The e-poster must be in the form of a web page.

The purpose of the e-poster final project is twofold: (a) to practice the dissemination of material in an online presentation format, and (b) to share an important resource related to education and democracy and pluralism. The e-poster should be succinct, well-designed and teach the audience about the chosen topic.

Your e-poster project should contain the following elements:

  1. the title of your poster session;
  2. your name;
  3. the title, author, and organization of the original source(s) of your topic;
  4. an abstract (one or two paragraphs) briefly explaining the resource;
  5. text and tables, graphics, and other media which present the topic;
  6. Links related to the topic
  7. An annotated list of 3-5 readings related to your issue.
