Introduction

The Task is a crucial element in constructing a solid WebQuest. This jigsaw activity is designed to introduce you to a variety different tasks that can be used to set up a WebQuest. In addition to deciding upon content, deciding upon a task orientation will help you to move forward with the design of your WebQuest.

To complete this task:

  1. Review your group's link below

  2. Read about your types of WebQuests tasks

  3. Look at the examples of your WebQuests

  4. Select a reporter to report back to the group on the following:

    • What were your types of WebQuest tasks?

    • Describe the nature of your tasks?

    • What types of content would work well with your types of tasks?

    • Share an example of one of your types of task
