Final Project Options and Rubric
For the final project for the 251 course, you will develop and demonstrate knowledge of some aspect, program and/or resource as it relates to education for a democratic and pluralistic society. Your knowledge will be shared at the final face to face session on 08/04/07. The subject matter for your final project must be approved by the course instructor before work on the final project begins.
Final projects for the 251 course will be done individually. There are 2 options for the final project for the 251 course. Each student will choose one of the following options for their final project. These options are equally challenging and the choice of the option should be based upon each individual student's content needs and interests.
Option 1: A WebQuest:
If you chose Option 1, you are choosing to combine your final project for the 251 course with your final product for the 284 course. For the 284 course, the final project will be the creation of a WebQuest (See EDTE 284 for WebQuest details). If you choose Option 1, the content of your WebQuest for the EDTE 284 project will be the knowledge of some aspect, program and/or resource as it relates to education for a democratic and pluralistic society described above.
Option 2: An Electronic Poster Session:
If you chose Option 2, you will create an electronic poster session which deals with the demonstration of the knowledge of some aspect, program and/or resource as it relates to education for a democratic and pluralistic society described above. If you chose this option you are choosing to keep your project for the EDTE 284 course. Complete details for the electronic poster session are available here.
