Final Project
Due at Face-to-Face on February 16, 2007
Description
As individuals or in groups of no more than two, assemble an iKnow (iMet Knowledge Web). Choose one emerging technology, and create a PDF document about that technology. The document should contain the following sections:
- an introduction to or description of the technology;
- a detailed explaination of how the technology is used or a tutorial (how-to);
- an argument for how the technology may impact teaching and learning in your locus of control , or teaching and learning in general;
- an annotated bibliography of at least 5 citations supporting your argument(s).
Workign with PDFs
A PDF (Portable Document Format) document is an open, printer-friendly, and platform-independant file format. We will be using PDF files to create a collection of web-ready iKnow documents. Your iKnow should inlcude the following:
- appropriate section headings defined as bookmarks withing the document;
- at least one hyperlink to an external online resource;
- inclusion of appropriate images, graphics, diagrams, or charts;
- compliance with accessibility guidelines.
