Face to Face - Face to Face sessions are held during the program orientation and then on Friday night/Saturday Day combinations during the rest of the program. iMET cohorts meet 2 to 3 times per semester. 3. Forum - Forum sessions involve students being given an assigned task and a deadline by which the assignment must be completed. Students are free to complete the assignment at a day and time of their choosing, provided it is completed by the assigned deadline. Forums occur ~ 2 times per month, per class. Partial credit can be earned for Forum assignments turned in up to 3 days past the date due.
Point Value - Forum sessions are worth 12 points. See the Forum Rubric for details on Forum performance expectations.
4. Flex - Flex sessions are sessions where students are assigned independent work or given time to complete projects required for their classes. Flex sessions may or may not involve meeting with a group. At the discretion of the instructor, points may or may not be given for Flex sessions.
Point Value - Flex sessions can range in point value from 0 - 12 points. Individual criteria for Flex sessions will be determined by the instructor at the time the task is assigned.
5. Final Projects - Student performance and learning in each class is assessed through the completion of a final project. Criteria for final projects are different for each class taken. The criteria will be provided when the final project is assigned.
6. Each student can miss one learning session per course and still receive an A for the course. One learning session is either a Friday or Saturday Face to Face meeting, one Tapped In session or one Forum session.
